A little about me
My name is Nick (he/him) and I am a seasoned personal therapist working in Hythe, Kent. I find a huge sense of meaning in connecting with people on a deep level and supporting them in making sense of their lives. I have dedicated my professional life to helping people make sense of their experiences, coming to terms with the things that happen to them, and engaging with the possiblities that exist within their own futures.
As a therapist I have engaged in various training opportunities since qualifying, including clinical supervision training in 2016. In 2022, I completed a Master’s degree in counselling and psychotherapy practice, in which I achieved an overall distinction. I consider it essential that I continue to grow and learn moving forward and you can read about my upcoming and more recent training below.
In addition to my therapy practice, I am also a qualified teacher and I run a training company called ‘Long Valley Therapy Training’ near Folkestone. This role complements my therapy practice, allowing me a wonderful platform to continiously engage with and challenge my understanding of therapeutic skills and theory whilst working closely with the future generations of therapists.
I have a passion for therapy and teaching that has led to a fulfilling career of over a decade, providing me the privilege of working with some truely remarkable human beings.
